The following information is a preliminary introduction to ICI, which I encourage you to read before calling me for a more detailed discussion of my services. My bio follows. (PLAYWRIGHTS PLEASE NOTE: In recent years I've had an increasing number of requests, including from screenwriter clients, to consult on play scripts. I welcome these opportunities and have now added my theater background, following my film-related bio, on the next page.)

WHAT I DO:  Critique films at all stages - from first draft to fine cut; assess a film's potential; consult on festival/distribution strategies. All consultations are conversations - in person or by phone - this dialogue offering maximum opportunities for a catalyctic exchange of ideas, problem solving and brainstorming. Follow-up calls are welcome (within reason).

WHAT I DON'T DO: Send out written coverage (see above); find funding (though I might make suggestions); offer legal advice; make deals (I am not a producer's rep).

WHAT I CHARGE:  My fee is by project, not by the hour. I only quote rates after having an initial conversation by phone and know more specifically the nature and status of your project.
